Do I have to leave the vehicle documents to the valet ?
- It is preferable to leave the vehicle papers with the valet (registration certificate, insurance certificate)
- However, for your peace of mind, we do not require the handing over of the vehicle papers (upon pick-up).
- You can, if you wish, leave us in the glove box, the original or a photocopy which will remain there for the duration of the parking of your vehicle.
- In the event of a police check when taking charge of the valet, if the latter had to be fined for immediate non-presentation of the papers, ECTOR reserves the right to ask you for financial compensation. In addition, you will be asked to do all diligence to present the vehicle papers within 5 days to any police or gendarmerie service.
